II YEAR - Think 2, Unit 10, p.92 & 93

Hello everyone!
Today we begin with the last three units in the book, which should be completed by the end of the school year. Unit 10 has the title Keep healthy, so we are going to discuss about our health (not referring to this specific situation only, but in general), about different lifestyles and the (dis)advantages from them.
The photo above shows page 92 of your book THINK 2, and there are 4 photos on it, each depicting a certain free-time activity.

TASK 1:
1. Explain the activities shown, which means give a short description of what is being done, by whom, do you maybe have it as a free-time activity or know someone who does it.
2. Add three more free-time activities, explaining them in as much detail as possible.
3. How might the various free-time activities be good for someone's health?

Page 93 presents a text, 8000 Birds to See Before You Die. There are two photos presented along with the text. One of them has a description, the Rufous-necked Wood Rail. The other one is a cover of a book, Birding on Borrowing Time by Phoebe Snetsinger.

TASK 2:
4.Look up the Rufous-necked Wood Rail and send me back at least two interesting facts about it.
5. Find the correct pronunciation of the last name Snetsinger and send it back, either as an audio file or with the help of IPA (international phonetic alphabet) :)

Read the text carefully, use the Internet for any unknown words. If the meaning of some words or phrases still remains unclear, feel free to contact me! After reading the text, look at the THINK VALUES section on page 93.

TASK 3:
6. Tick the sentences from the Think values section and in relation to the text on page 93, what you think you can learn from this story. Send me the answer(s) and explain which one is the most important for you and why?

I'll be expecting your answers till Sunday. My mail and social profiles are in the Welcome post on this blog. Sending lots of love to you all. Stay healthy!
