III YEAR, Think 3, Unit 10, p.97

Hello everyone!
Let's continue with our unit 10, the next page is 97 and we can see that it deals with some grammar and some vocabulary practice. The grammar part focuses on the Future Perfect tense. If you look at exercise 1, the sentences are from the forum entries on p.96. They are the following (complete and check):
  1. By the end of his five-year contract, he'll have earned more than £70 million for playing football.
  2. Of course, they won't have thought about that before they leave school and then it'll be too late.
  3. Who knows, hopefully by the year 2050, they'll have sorted this mess out.

After that, you can look at and complete the rule in the blue rectangle below the exercise. It says that we use the future perfect for actions that will finish at some time between now and a specified time in the future (i.e. future actions that will be completed before another point in the future).
We form it with will + have + past participle;
We often used it with an appropriate future time expression, mostly by or by the time, when, after, before + a time clause. (e.g. by 2035, by the time I get to school, before they graduate etc.)

TASK 1:
Do grammar exercise 2.

On the right half of page 97 there are words connected with the topics of jobs and work. Look them up on the internet and then

TASK 3:

Answer the questions in the speaking parts of grammar exercise 3 and vocabulary exercise 3.

IMPORTANT - DO NOT WRITE THEM DOWN.
INSTEAD MAKE A VIDEO of yourself answering the questions. I believe it'd be best to send the files (clips) on messenger to my Facebook, but if you have another option, it's fine with me, as long as I can see it and hear you well.

You have a whole week for this homework, which I'll be expecting till Wednesday, 15th April, 23:59pm.

Sending you wishes for good health, have an amazing week! 💗💗💗
